CRIT is an invitation-only event that kicks off the Optimal Aging Conference weekend. CRIT reinforces the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in caring for older adults. As such, this program is interdisciplinary in both content and attendees. CRIT provides the opportunity for Chief Residents, Program Directors, social work students, nursing students, chaplain residents, community workers, patients, and pharmacy residents to participate in interdisciplinary collaboration. What to Expect: This immersive and engaging retreat program is centered around a case that is divided into four modules aligned with the 4Ms of Age-Friendly Health Systems (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, Mobility). Participants work through the modules in inter-professional groups. Each module includes evidence-based mini-lectures on topics in geriatrics and palliative care, interactive exercises and team-building activities, and presentations designed to enhance clinical skills.
