 About Our mASSAGE Services

Massage therapy is as old as touch itself and has been a wellness practice since humans first understood that our ability to comfort each other is literally in the palm of our hands. Today's massage therapy uses evidence-informed practices and education to work with the client in the context of their entire plan of care. 

There are two specialties available: Oncology Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).

MEET OUR massage therapist 

Rebecca Sturgeon partners with her clients to decide what is important in their session, giving them a sense of control that they may have lost. She creates and holds a space where clients are deeply listened to and their wishes honored. At her core, Rebecca is a teacher, and sharing knowledge with clients, their families and other professionals is something she loves to do.

In addition to providing massage therapy at Trager, Rebecca is the Education Director for Healwell, a nonprofit organization that develops and provides interdisciplinary education for healthcare professionals.

Rebecca is available for appointments on Fridays 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
