January marked the one-year anniversary of the first confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United States.  Few of us could have predicted how much this would have changed our lives.  For this quarterly meeting both presentations will focus on challenges posed to providers and clients alike. The Project ECHO presentation by Dr. Dale English II will discuss Polypharmacy During the Time of COVID-19. Guest KCHC speaker, Dr. Joe D'Ambrosio, will present The Many Psychological Challenges of COVID-19.

Dr. English's presentation will explain the public health implications associated with polypharmacy on older adults during the pandemic and strategies to address the issue. Dr. Joe will address the effects living during the pandemic has had on mental health, as well as strategies to possibly find unexpected gifts and build greater resilience.

You will not want to miss these great presentations, as well as the amazing work being done in our communities.  Please join us and share this information with anyone who might be interested.
