The University of Louisville Trager Institute (formerly the UofL Institute for Sustainable Health & Optimal Aging) is hosting online informational sessions about our practicum opportunities. We offer a variety of placements social work students (master-level and undergraduate), as well as for master-level counseling psychology and doctoral-level psychiatric nurse practitioners. The majority of our placements offer stipends or scholarships up to $10,000.

About Institute Placement Opportunities

The Flourish Behavioral Health Internship Program is a one-year, paid internship that trains students to provide care coordination and behavioral health interventions while working with older adults in rural Kentucky. 

This internship program provides a living expense stipend for qualifying UofL graduate students. Students in this program are trained to deliver integrated, effective, and evidenced-based care coordination and behavioral health services to older adults in rural Kentucky. 

Student will receive $28,352 stipend (doctoral-level) or $10,000 stipend (master-level) stipend for living expenses. Eligible students are in their final year of studies in the following University of Louisville graduate programs: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (doctoral-level), Counseling Psychology (master-level), and Social Work (master-level).
