Compassionate Caregiving Workshop:
Shelby County 

The University of Louisville Trager Institute is offering two compassionate care workshops for caregivers this December! These workshops will focus on how to improve the overall caregiving experience for both the caregiver and the loved one we are caring for. We will also discuss challenges of caregiving for a loved one, how to implement compassion into the care provided, how to manage everyday challenges, and how to take care of ourselves.

This workshop is offered as part of the UofL Trager Institute’s KIPDA Caregiver Support Program. This program is for individuals caring for  loved ones living in the following counties: Bullitt, Henry, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble. the UofL Trager Institute’s KIPDA Caregiver Support Program provides educational workshops/trainings tailored to desired topics of individuals, case management individualized to your needs, counseling, and support groups. These services are provided right in the communities of the areas served and are free to those who meet all qualifications.
