Project ECHO: Opioid Risk Management

Project ECHO: Opioid Risk Management and Adjunct Pain Management Strategies  

Project ECHO Opioid Risk Management will empower our partners to improve the quality of life for patients, families, and health care providers by providing best practices related to treating older adults with potential opioid use risk. Please share our flyer (here) with interested providers.

Project ECHO: Opioid Risk Management sessions will start on December 10 and resume in 2020 on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday,12:00-1:00 pm EST, through April 7.  Each session will include educational didactic (topics found in the schedule below),  a case presentation, and discussion. The following needs will be addressed: 

  1. Responsible and appropriate prescribing/de-prescribing;
  2. Assessment and treatment of opioid use risk;
  3. Alternate pain management techniques for older adults 50+.
