Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is a program created by Dr. Paul Lam and the Tai Chi for Health Institute to be a safe and enjoyable activi ty for individuals with and without arthritis to improve overall health. M edical studies have shown the program to relieve pain for people with arthr itis and improve their quality of life, as well as preventing falls. Parti cipants should have clearance from their health care provider before engagi ng in any exercise program.
Instructor Chris Pierce is certified in T ai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention. Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursd ays for 6-weeks. Each week builds on moves from the previous class and reg ular attendance is encouraged. Masking and social distancing guidelines wi ll be followed.
