About

The University of Louisville’s Trager Institute and Brandeis School of Law are partnering to provide limited estate planning legal services for FREE to underserved clients.* Staffed with Brandeis law students and supervised by a licensed attorney who is an adjunct professor at the Brandeis School of Law, the Elder Law Clinic can help prepare simple wills, living wills, and power of attorney and health care surrogate documents.

*to be eligible, your income can be no more than 2.5 times the federal poverty level.

What to expect working with our expert legal team:

  • Develop legal plans to ensure your long-term health and well-being goals are honored, including legacy planning
  • Work with a legal representative to complete essential advance care planning documents to protect your rights in the event of serious illness

We provide our patients with comprehensive, free legal services that ensure you and your family have the necessary legal documents in place to honor your health and lifestyle wishes and protect your financial stability as you age.

We look forward to creating peace of mind for you and your family with our elder law services.
